nobody at home understands the pain that you’re going through
or even care
so unfair
so why are you still there
so what do you do
if you’re so tough
enough is enough
your childhood has been
and the walls are cracking of your cocoon
looks like you should better leave real soon
there`s only one way out and you already know
so pack your stuff
then get your stuff
and go
mummy's got a broken heart
just take it slow
dad scratching his head
mumbling something bout how much you’ve grown
grandma`s got a headache
and will forget it in a week or so
sister announces that she`s taking your room

dawn cracks
and i grab my axe
i’m a lumberjack
and i got my work cut out for me
gonna do
what i wanna do
i got work to do
and today I’m gonna cut
a tree
this joke
of an ugly oak
eroded roots and mold
died from within while it grew too tall
it’s a fact
about trees like that
that they are a pest
so this tree will need to fall
it looks so proud
standing its ground
i’m gonna chop this fucker down
it's your own rot that bought you here
you cast
for as long as you last
a shadow that’s so vast
that one might think you are immovable
you’ll find
what comes after pride
when you have the sight
when you find out that i’m unstoppable
trees that spread sickness need to go
so all plants in their shade can grow
and since there are others around
this tree falling will make a sound
chop the rot
